Information on the IITI

IITI is a non-profit organization, and its mission is to transform the world, relationship by relationship, and provide a new concept for relationships. To achieve this goal, IITI represents the training and certification of qualified therapists to become Certified Imago Relationship Therapists.

Imago Relationship Therapy was developed by Dr. Harville Hendrix and Dr. Helen LaKelly Hunt.

They agree as follows:

Imago will offer the Clinical Training in Imago Relationship Therapy, as described in the course description known to participant, if and so long as the participant meets the requirements for participation as described in this agreement, which shall be deemed to include conduct consistent with the core values of the Imago Community.

Training fees

The cost of the training and certification is:

£330 for Imago Foundations 2-day training

£900 for Imago Clinical Skills part 1

£900 for Imago Clinical Skills part 2

£85 per 50 minute supervision of Imago work

£135 when sending in the final video recording, which will be assessed for certification

Should a non-therapist partner wish to take part in the training, the cost of participation is reduced by 50%.  For partner participation, there is no certification process, but the partner does sign up for the conditions on this contract.

The participant understands that once they have signed up for Clinical Skills part 1 or part 2 for a certain date, they do not have the right to be transferred to a training on a different set of dates.

The participant agrees that £150 of the payment for each part of the course is non-refundable. The full amount is non-refundable 4 weeks before the start of the course.

Conditions and requirements

Participant agrees to be familiar with the conditions and requirements for the training and certification as stated in “Clinical Imago Training Information”. Participant realizes that admission to the training does not guarantee certification. Certification is based on demonstrated mastery of theory and practice.

If, for any reason, this insurance is cancelled or not renewed, the participant will not be permitted to practice Imago Relationship Therapy until a copy of the new valid policy sheet is made available to IITI.

Lack of valid insurance may result in immediate revocation of certification.

To the extent the participating partner is not employed as a coach or therapist, this requirement does not apply to that person.

Participant understands and accepts that during the Training Program and after certification, the highest level of integrity is required. During the duration of the Program, Participant will not engage in illegal or unethical activities. Participant will comply with the contract provisions.
