Imago Relationship Therapy Clinical Skills 1

Imago Relationship Therapy Clinical Skills 1

The Imago Clinical Skills training builds from the two day Imago Foundation course and focuses on Imago Clinical processes, clinical demonstrations and reviewing of participants cases.

What Participants Have Said About The Course

"The Imago Skills Part 1 training exceeded my expectations. It was a fantastic informative and practical course - both personally and professionally - I have taken away so much that I can quickly and easily apply to my therapy practice and relationship! I am looking forward to starting work with couples and continuing my learning in Imago Therapy".

Sarah Moran, Therapist

"In the past I had always felt like a judge/parent/referee in couple counselling sessions and found them stressful to facilitate until finally I stopped working with couples altogether. Having completed the first seven days Imago training, I feel empowered, confident and excited to be working with couples again".

Rachel Morris, Therapist

"The Clinical Skills training with Ian is great because it’s so practical. We learn the theory and then how to apply it in the therapy room. So valuable! Thank you!"

Shan Merchant, Therapist

"Fabulous training, delivered in an informal, inclusive positive way."

Lucy Edwards, Therapist

"Ian is a very patient trainer who provides space for exploration and genuinely takes care of the well being of students. He brings his personality which brings the topics alive and makes the material relatable. The Affinity centre is a warm and welcoming space, I felt very relaxed and very jealous of the amazing plants!"

Louise Hubin, Therapist

"I have really enjoyed both parts of my Imago training with Ian and I am looking forwards to the final part in September. So far the training has been well paced with plenty of time to practise. The group dynamic has been encouraging and supportive to work with. Venue is pleasant, easy to access with lots of shops, cafe's etc on the door step."

Catherine Fisher, Therapist

"The Imago Clinical Skills Part 1 training goes so above and beyond the experience of the two day foundation training. All Ian's training is always so experiential, informative, collaborative and practical in content. He creates a lovely, warm atmosphere, where learners can get the absolute most out of the training and feel encouraged to keep developing their skills. I can't recommend the ACT or Imago training enough".

Kerry Thorpe, Therapist

"This was a fab course. Ian is a great trainer imparting theory with the authority of experience and instilling confidence by his encouragement and belief in our competence".

Ali Oxborrow, Therapist

"I found Ian to be extremely knowledgable and his guidance clear and reassuring. The course moves at a steady pace, which was perfect for me as it gave me plenty of time to practice each each section before moving on."

Rachel Morris, Therapist

"Ian is an excellent Imago Clinical Skills trainer, he is passionate about Imago. During the five day training, Ian's explanations were very clear and easy to understand. He is an expert in this world of Imago".

Hildah Makoni, Therapist

"I would say, don’t hesitate - do the training as you won’t regret it. You will be surprised at how it can change your relationships and your outlook on life!

Ian is an excellent communicator and he will inspire you, encourage you and you will come away feeling like you can conquer the world!".

Sarah Lewis, Therapist

"This Imago relationship therapy training has been the most expanding and transforming experience supporting both my professional and personal path to become a better couples coach and more whole human being.

I really appreciated a non judgmental, supportive structure coupled with amazing clear and passionate delivery by Ian. Thank you. ".

Krzysztof Warzybok, Educator

"Ian is a skilled therapist and trainer. A warmth and calmness sets the scene of the training. All are welcome; all are included. Everyone's voice is heard. And add to that: fun. I feel this is an art.

And in parallel the above I found to be what the model of Imago therapy is. ".
